Shawfield Greyhound Racing Track opened on 14 November 1932 in the North Rutherglen area of Glasgow and is today, the only licensed track in Scotland. This greyhound track hosts the Regal Scottish Derby, St Mungo Cup and William King Cup annual events. Shawfield Stadium has 4 bars, a fully licensed restaurant and the Arena cafe to enhance your night out greyhound racing. Races take place on a Friday or Saturday evening and the stadium has a capacity of 4000. All facilities at the stadium have disabled access. Hen and Stag parties are welcome so why not pre-book to ensure an excellent night out at the dogs. The Shawfield Restaurant can also be booked for corporate or private functions.
